Abstract

This is a contrastive study based 011 a library research deals with. the differenceand similarities of bot It of Javanese s and Indonesians affixes. This study aims to know(1) the Javanese and Indonesian affixes and theirfunctions (2) the similarities anddifferences between Javanese and Indonesian affixations, and (3) the possibilitiesof interferences between Javanese and Indonesian affixes.This st11d11 is collected by documentary and observation method. Tlien, theselected documents then analyzed and compared by using contrastive analysis. The datawill be analyzed by the following steps.tl ) reading the books both of Javanese andIndonesisa, then (2) looking for 1101111, verbs, adverbs, adjectives and so on. The next is(3) classifying and analyzing them.From the analysis, she concludes that there are some similarity of Javanese andIndonesian which has similarfunctions, but sometimes it d~ffers when applied in both ofvocabularies through it has the same meaning
