Abstract

The title of this thesis is "the ethics of verbal communication According toholy Qur'an. The problem is how people use the ethics in communication, asessential things in human life. Hence, Islam arranged the arrangement ofcommunication suitable with Qur'an and Hadis. This arrangement of communicationknown with term of the ethics of communication. Such as fairness in communication,message accuracy, giving free and responsible and also fair criticisms.This research has two objectives, there are to find the concept of the ethics ofverbal communication according to holy Qur' an, and to find the implication of thisconcept with language to influence human behavior.This study is considered as a library research. The writer uses thematicmethod by collecting Quranic verses, select some Qur'anic interpretations booksometimes hadis. And the writer also uses documentation, in this case is the datawhich are related to the research.From all of discussion, it can be taken from Quran; some books sometimeshadis if needed. She presents that the ethics of verbal communication is the essentialthings in human life. Each has positive and negative side that completes each other.It is described in the concept of how the Qur'an constructs this communicationethics. By the holy Qur'an, peoples will know that the principles of communicationare the keyword. So, it is not matter of things who have the ethics of verbalcommunication ethics are appreciated the good behavior will color the universe.The findings of this research are expected to give some contribution to thestudy of the ethics of communication. Practically, the study will give guidance for allhumans, men or women, how to place themselves before people in Qur'anic views.
