Abstract

In this study, the writer choose the "5 CM novel, this novel ischosen to be analyzed the important of moral values as part of our life.There are three research problems proposed of the "5 CM" novel; what arethe intrinsic elements of the novel; what are the moral values that can befound in the novel; what is the implication of moral values of the novel ineducationThe methodology of this study is qualitative descriptive study; it is meansthat it does not need statistic approach to explore the material. In thisresearch the writer research about the moral values in the "5 CM novel.Qualitative research is a search of which the data written or oral words aredescriptive analyzed. The data sources are primary data and secondarydata. The primary data is content of"5 CM novel. The secondary data istaken from many kinds of books and relevant materials such as books ofliterature theory, moral, value and education.The result of this study is there are some moral values in the "5 CM" novellike trust in God, obedient to regulations, compassionate, sympathy to others,equality, nationalism and patriotism, respect to others, never give up, no genderbias, sharing knowledge and science.
