From reading, we get many vocabularies and many sentences. New experience of learning is usually getting from reading. It can develop in the students’ understanding. Reading helpsthe learner and teacher to be easier in their study.In reality, many students get bored to read. It is the case of education in the world. All teachers in the world feel that reading problem in the students are a high factor in the lesson problem. Indeed, it is not only in Indonesia but in the world education case. Snow andChair (2002:iii) say that if one of the most vexing problems based by middle and secondary school teachers today is that many students come into their classrooms without the requisite knowledge, skills, or disposition to read and comprehend the materials placed before them. To attract the students’ interest in reading, the researcher applied Jigsaw technique and magazine as a media in teaching reading comprehension. This research is aimed to know how is the use of Jigsaw Technique by using Magazine as a media to improve students to understanding reading on Procedure Text?. Is there significant difference between of using Jigsaw Technique and Magazine as a media to improve students to understanding reading on Procedure Text?In this research, the researcher participated as the observer and the learning process was handled by the teacher of MTs PSA MambausSa’diyah, Doni Fatah. The teacher took procedure text as the material and magazine as the media to try one kind of cooperative learning in the jigsaw technique. Every cycle in the research consists of identifying the problems, planning, action, observation, and reflection.This test consistsof 20 multiple choice questions.The question has quiz about procedure text.
