Abstract
Wardani, Galih Kusuma, 2020. An Analysis Of Extrovert and Introvert Students’ Learning Style Based On VARK (Visual, Aural, Read/Write, Kinesthetic) Model In Learning English As A Foreign Language At The Eleventh Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Tengaran In The Academic Year 2019/2020. A Graduating Paper, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, English Education Department. State Institute for Islamic Studies Sataltiga. Counselor: Hammam, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D. The aim of this research are to know the types of learning style based on VARK model of extrovert and introvert students in learning English as a foreign language in SMA Negeri 1 Tengaran. This study applied descriptive qualitative method . The technique of collecting data was through the documentation, observation using interview and survey using questionnaire to know extrovert and introvert students? learning style . The result of this study showed 16 extrovert students and 9 introvert students as the respondents in this research. There writer found five learning style preferences of extrovert students. There were visual 6,25%, aural 12,5%, read/write 18,75%, multi modal 12,5%, and kinesthetic 50% as the highest preference. This was because of extrovert students had characters like outer, likes to meet people, and easily connect with other are match with kinesthetic preference. Four learning style were found among introvert students. There were aural 33,34%, read/write 33,34%, kinesthetic 22,20% and multi modal 11,12%. Visual preference of introvert students was not found in this research. The most dominant preference are aural and read/write. The writer assumed this was because introvert students had characters who likes to be alone, always hide his feelings, shy, and unfriendly except to his close friends were match with aural and write/read preference.
