Abstract

The objectives of this research are to know the implementation of Esolcourses.com and identify the signification improvement of students’ ability in listening skills at the eleventh grade of SMA N 1 Bringin in the year of 2019/2020. Esolcourses.com is a website that can be used by the website users to improve their english skills. The english skills that can be improved by using this website are listening, reading, speaking and also listening. In this research, the researcher focused on improving students’ ability in listening skills at the eleventh grade of SMA N 1 Bringin in the year of 2019/2020. The technique and the approach of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which has30 subject of reseacrh by MIPA 4 in eleventh grade at SMA N 1 Bringin. The research was conducted in two cycles. Each of cycle concist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of this research showed that there is an improvement of students’ ability in listening skills after the implementation of Esolcourses.com. It can be seen in the data of students’ score. In each of cycles, mean score of post-test is higher than pre-test, in cycle I (64.93 ? 55.9), and in cycle II (84.6 ? 74.1). The t calculation is 14.37, showing that t calculation is higher than t table (2.04). Based on the data, alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (H0) is rejected.
