The researcher emphasizes two aspects: (1) To know-how the implementation on the use of picture sequences in teaching writing procedure text, and (2) To know-how students perceive on the use of picture sequences in teaching writing procedure text. Researcher used qualitative methods. The technique used in collecting data is documentation and questionnaire. The subjects of this study were limited to the English teacher and 24 grade 9E students at MTs Darul Ulum Suruh. The results of this study indicate that the use of picture sequences as a medium can make a non-conducive classroom atmosphere more controlled and enjoyable. The researcher found a positive perception, that most students hoped that the use of picture sequences would continue because students understood the lesson more easily. 19 students found it easier to understand the lesson after the teacher used picture sequences learning media. 17 students felt more enthusiastic in participating in procedural text learning using picture sequences media. 16 students feel that the use of picture sequences learning media has a very large effect on the acceptance of procedural text learning.
