Abstract
nglish and Arabic are currently the international languages agreed upon by the United Nations (UN) (United Nations, 2020), so it is of great benefit for citizens of the world to master these languages. More specifically, for Indonesia, the majority Muslim population in the world, Arabic is a language that is close to everyday life. Religious education, including learning Arabic in a country with a religious culture like Indonesia, is one of the main priorities for parents (Syahbudin, 2015). This is because religious education has a very strategic function in the realization of the formation of children's character (Rachmawati, 2019). Learning Arabic is included in religious education in Indonesia.
