This study aims to find out about the teachers' and students' perception towards jagaratu application as a media in collecting English assignment. The first objective of this study is to find out the the teachers' and students' perception towards jagaratu application as a media in collecting English assignment, the second objective is to find out the problems faced by teachers and students in using the jagaratu application, and the third objective is to find out solutions from teachers and students to face problems in using the jagaratu application. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive research. The subjects were two English teachers and thirty-nine twelfth grade English students at SMA N 2 Salatiga. To obtain data, researchers used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed and interpreted using qualitative procedures. The findings show that teachers and students have positive perceptions of using the jagaratu application as a media in collecting english assignment, teachers and students enjoy to use the the jagaratu application, the jagaratu application is an online media that is effectively used as a platform for collecting english assignments, the jagaratu application making it easier for students to collect english assignments, the jagaratu application increases student enthusiasm in learning English, Jagaratu application is more flexible to be used for media in collecting English assignments. However, in using the jagaratu application as a media for collecting English assignments, there are problems faced by teachers and students. A problem like students do not understand the material provided through the jagaratu application, communication does not run well, often experiencing server errors when used together, materials and assignments not well conveyed to students, and signals affecting the course of the jagaratu application.
