Keywords: vocabulary, TEYL, Congklak Game The thesis aims to: (1) know how to use congklak game as learning media in improving students’ vocabulary mastery at TK BA Al Islam for the academic year 2022/2023 (2) find how far is the increase students’ vocabulary mastery at TK BA Al Islam for the 2022/2023 academic year after taught by congklak game. The number of subjects in this study were 11 students of TK BA Al Islam Suruh. The research methodology used is Classroom Action Research. Data from this study were collected using qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data were obtained by researcher through photos and observation sheets. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained by comparing the post test results with the average pre-test results. The test results, how to use congklak in this learning was the teacher distributed congklak seeds evenly to the congklak board, then students were paired according to the rules. Students were guessed the name of the fruit in the congklak board. In the first cycle, the average value of the pre-test and post test was 53.90%. Whereas in cycle II the pre-test and post test scores were 77.81%. The percentage of success rate in this study reached 90.9% which increased by 23.91%. From the presentation of these results, researcher can conclude that the use of the congklak game can improve the vocabulary skills of students in TK BA Al Islam Suruh.
