Abstract
This study aims to determine students' perceptions in changing the English learning system from online to offline. The objectives of this study are, 1) to determine students' perceptions of changes in the online to offline English learning system, 2) to find out what are the positive and negative influences on changing the online to offline learning system, 3) to know the students’ difficulties found on changing the online to offline English learning system. The qualitative case study method used in this research and in obtaining data, researchers used questionnaire through google form and interviewed direcly. Participants in this study were 30 students of class VIII MTs N 2 Kendal. Based on the findings of this study, the majority of students who were respondents in this study had a positive perception of changes in the English learning system from online to offline. This is because the majority of students are enthusiastic about changes in offline learning, students can understand the material presented directly, students can ask directly about the material they do not understand, and the delivery of material delivered by the teacher directly is easier to understand when learning offline. So that offline learning changes are very effective for improving student learning.
