Abstract
This study aims to determine the profile of students' vocabulary before and after learning using Blooket in teaching vocabulary to eighth grade students at MTs Sudirman Getasan during the 2024/2025 academic year. Using a true experimental design, the research involved an experimental class (VIII C consisted of 30 students) that learned vocabulary with Blooket and a control class (VIII D 32 students) that used traditional flashcards. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, analyzed using a T-Test. Purposive sampling was used as the sampling method. In addition, the following procedures were used to conduct the study: administering a pre-test, implementing a treatment plan, and administering a post-test. The conclusion of the study showed that the experimental class had an average score on the pre-test, which was 58.6, was lower than the average score on the post-test, which was 88.1. After using Blooket the students' average score increased to 50.34%. The T-Table of 2.048 was smaller than the T-Test result of 33.679. At the interval of g. 0.7, the N-gain score was 0.71 with a high level for the experimental group while the N-gain score for the control group was 0.17 at the interval of 0 < g < 0,3 with a low level. The results showed that students who learned using Blooket experienced a significant increase in vocabulary mastery compared to the control group. These findings indicate that Blooket can help vocabulary teaching and learning activities and make the learning environment more enjoyable in the classroom teaching process.
