Abstract
The objectives of this study are to find out the differencess between student’s vocabulary mastery before and after using the snake and ladders board game at SDN Pucang and to find out The Effectiveness Of The Snake And Ladders Board Game To Teach Student’s Vocabulary Mastery Based On Total Physical Response Method At SDN Pucang. The type of this research is Experimental Quantitative Study. The sample out of 59 students. The technique of collect data was taken from giving a test at the beginning and at the end of the study it called Pre-test and Post-test. Furthermore, the data analyzed using T test and N-gain test. The data analysis process use the SPSS for Windows 26.0 computer. The result of this study shows that there are differences between before and after using snake and ladder board game. Before using the media the student’s understanding was quiet low, but after using the media student’s knowledge and vocabulary mastery was increase. Furthermore, the use of media was more effective than demonstration strategy because the learning process was not geting bored and the students score was increase. Key words : effectiveness, snake and ladder, vocabulary, Total Physical Response method.
