This study used a pre-test and post-test for the test. The experimental class received the treatment of teaching using the TikTok application as learning media, while the control class used other media, namely YouTube Shorts. The sample in this study consisted of 36 students, researchers used two classes, namely XO1 and XO2 classes. Class XO1 was selected as the control class, while class XO2 was selected as the experimental class. Random sample selection is the sample method used. Data analysis was calculated using SPSS 25 by comparing the post-test results of the two classes. The results showed that the average score was 81.11 so that the experimental class had a higher score than the control class, which was 78.06. The t-test results show significant results (t 11.411, p 0.05, df 1.916) which is t-test > t-table. Thus, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So, based on the research, TikTok application has a significant effect to improve students' speaking ability. Keywords: Speaking, Medium, TikTok application.
