Abstract

Setyowati. 2025. THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GALLERY WALK TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE INTEGRATED READING-WRITING SKILLS OF THE ELEVENTH-GRADE STUDENTS OF SMA N 1 PABELAN IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2024/2025. A Graduating Paper, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, English Education Department, State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga. Counselor: Rr. Dewi Wahyu Mustikasari, S.S., M.Pd., Ph.D. The research implemented of gallery walk in improving the integrated reading-writing skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA N 1 Pabelan in the academic year of 2024/2025. This research answered two questions: (1) How is the procedure of The Implementation of Gallery Walk Technique to Improve Integrated Reading-Writing Skills of The Eleventh-Grade Students of SMA N 1 Pabelan in The Academic Year of 2024/2025. (2) What is the reason for The Implementation of Gallery Walk Technique to Improve Integrated Reading-Writing Skills of The Eleventh-Grade Students of SMA N 1 Pabelan in The Academic Year of 2024/2025. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, consisting of two cycles, The subjects of the research were 35 students from class XI 4. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, observations, and documentation. During the implementation the teacher prepared the materials, explained the steps, and divided students into groups. Each group created a dialogue text and displayed it. Students moved around to complete other groups’ texts with their own ideas. The activity ended with group presentations and feedback. The findings of the research revealed that adjusting the allocation of time and instructions increased the clarity of tasks and the overall effectiveness of the learning process. The research concluded that the Gallery Walk technique is an effective strategy to improve students' integrated reading and writing skills in English.
