Abstract

This article is motivated by the many cases of students who feel the learning process is monotonous and boring so students' learning motivation varies, some are high and some are low. So, this research aims to determine the effect of hybrid and blended learning strategies on the learning motivation of student’s class of 2021 in the Islamic Religious Education study program at UIN Salatiga. This research uses a quantitative type of research. There are 2 classes in the sample, namely the experimental group which uses a hybrid learning model, and the control group which uses a blended learning model. Through the use of Google Forms, questionnaires were distributed for data collection purposes. Using the SPSS application, multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. Based on what has been tested in this research, the results can be obtained that student learning motivation is also positively influenced by hybrid and blended learning models, seen from the reliability test on the blended learning questionnaire the results are reliable because the Cronbach's alpha value is 0.810 and on the questionnaire validity test Hybrid learning is proven to be valid and reliable because it has a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.875. Furthermore, the normality test showed that the Sig. is 0.500 which means it is normally distributed because the Sig value is > 0.05. So, from this data, we can see that the influence of learning using blended learning and hybrid learning methods on learning motivation does not have heteroscedasticity problems as evidenced by the Sig value. > 0.05. So, the conclusion is that the learning process using hybrid learning and blended learning models is effective in providing a positive influence on learning motivation models.
