Keywords: Vocabulary Mastery, Snowball Throwing Technique This classroom action research investigates about the improving students’ vocabulary mastery through snowball throwing technique in procedure text for the tenth-grade students of MA Al Manar Tengaran in academic year of 2024/2025. This research has two problems of the research: 1) How is the implementation of snowball throwing technique to improve students’ vocabulary mastery for the tenth-grade student of MA Al Manar. 2) How snowball throwing technique can improve students’ vocabulary mastery for the tenth-grade student of MA Al Manar. The research was conducting in two cycles. (1) In Cycle I, the mean score increased from 50.33 (pre-test) to 60.66 (post-test). (2) In Cycle II, the score increased from 61 (pre-test) to 74.33 (post-test). The percentage of students scoring ≥70 also increased from 36% in Cycle I to 86% in Cycle II. The findings of this paper based on the results, the implementation of the Snowball Throwing technique showed a positive impact. These results suggest a significant improvement in students' vocabulary mastery. The Snowball Throwing technique not only helped students understand vocabulary better but also made the learning process more active and enjoyable. It encourages student participation and collaboration, reducing boredom and increasing motivation. Therefore, this technique is proven to be an effective and fun alternative for teaching English vocabulary in the classroom.
