Abstract

Purpose of this study is to examine religious moderation in Islamic education based on information communication and technologies (ICT). Currently, the role of ICT needs to be explored and developed more deeply about its use. Through ICT, the goal of Islamic education to internalize the values of religious moderation in students can be realized as expected. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. Researchers using a qualitative approach can have more flexibility in observing, exploring and analyzing more accurately with regard to religious moderation in-based Islamic education ICT. The results of research on Islamic education in forming religious moderation attitudes with mastery of information communication and technologies (ICT), the substance of the PAI curriculum is oriented to moderate character, coaching, exemplary, and mentoring student activities, and conducting an assessment. The attitude of religious moderation is an effort to build awareness and appreciate the diversity of students collectively.
