Abstract

This research is an analysis maxim of manners of Michael Colton’s penguin madagascar movies. The object of this research are (1) To find a utterance that obey maxim in the movie Penguin Madagascar by Michael Colton, (2) To find a utterance that violate maxim in the movie Penguin Madagascar by Michael Colton. This research is qualitative research. It was conduct to analyze maxim of manners of Michael Colton’s penguin madagascar movies. The result of this research found that there were 14 violation of maxim of manner and 190 utterances which obey maxim of manner.
