Abstract
This aim of this research is to find out whether interactive by applying cooperative script method to improve students’ speaking skill of the seventh grade of MTS Darul Ulum Suruh in the academic year of 2017/2018. The researches give students pre-test before treatment and post test after treatment. The problem of the research are 1.How is the implementation of using cooperative script method to improve students’ speaking skill for the seventh grade of MTs Darul Ulum Suruh in the academic year 2017/2018? 2. How is the result of using cooperative script method improve students’ speaking skill for the seventh grade of Mts Darul Ulum Suruh in the academic year 2017/2018? The result of the observation could be seen that the T-test is bigger than T-table. It means that there is significant improvement of the students’ speaking skills using cooperative script method. It is shown the result of T-test in cycle I is 9.500 and cycle II is 10.016. At the cycle I, the mean of post-test is higher than the mean of the pre-test. The mean of post-test is 62.9 and pre-test are 52.4. In the cycle II, the mean of post-test is higher than the mean of the pre-test. The mean of pre-test is 67.7 and post-test are 77.7. The mean of pre-test and post-testwas significant improvement from the cycle I to the cycle II.Based on the result above, the researcher concludes that cooperative script method could improve students’ speaking skills
