Abstract
The objectives this research are: to know the students’ responses to infographics, to know the students’comprehensions to infographics, to know the students’ motivation to learn English in the seventh semester of practicing teaching English as foreign language by using information computer technology of English Department of IAIN Salatiga 2018/2019. The approach of research was quantitative research with survey study. The technique of collecting data is by using questionnaire to find out the students’ responses and comprehensions to infographics and their motivation to learn English. This research proves that the students’ responses to infographics are good, it can be seen from each statements about the students responses of the questionnaire. The participants who agree that from the infographics they learn new vocabularies are 50.0% (15 participants), the participants who are easy for their to understand material in English language learning are 63.3% (19 participants), and the participants who enjoy using Infographics in learning English are 60,0% (18 particiants). The tudents’ comprehensions to infographics are good, the majority of the participants agree that they do understand the information on infographics (63.3%/19 participants), the paricipants who understand when the lecturer talk about infographics are 46.7% (14 participants), and the participants who understand to make infographics are 46.7% (14 participants). The end point, the participants agree that the motivations to learn English is obtained from the infographics, it is can be observed the result of questionnaire which is show that the participants of 53.3% (16 participants) using infographics in their time make English language learning more interesting , 53.3% (16 participants) of the participants feel more comfortable when using infographics in English learning, 53.3% (16 participants) of the participants agree that infographics can increase their focus of learning, and 60.0% (18 participants) of the participants agree that infographics can enhance their creativity to produce work effectively. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the students’ responses and comprehensions to infographics are good, and it is in line with the students’ motivations to learn English which display in good.
