Abstract
Utami, Tiyas. 2019 “Students' Perception on Vocabulary Mastery through (Setor Hafalan) Memory Report (A descriptive analysis study of students in Ma'had Al jami'ah IAIN Salatiga)” A Graduating Paper. English Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty. State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Salatiga. Counselor: Norwanto, S.Pd , M.Hum, Ph.D. The objectives of the study are: (1) to recognize the implementation of memory report (2) to recognize the students' perception of memory report. This study used descriptive qualitative approach methodology as the research design. The methodology of this research was analytical qualitative approach which the researcher analyzed the data from conducting research with several theory. The technique of collecting data was interviewed and questionnaire. The population of the research is 160 students and the sample of the research is 15 respondents. The researcher used an interview as the main data. And questionnaire as the supporting data. The results of this study are: (1) the implementation of memory report in Mahad Al Jamiah Salatiga follows the procedures of opening, feeding, memorizing, reporting, habituating, and exhibiting; (2) the students' perception of memory report is different between students that have experienced living in Islamic boarding and the ones that have not experienced living in the same environment.
