The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of One Stays Rest Stray technique to improve students’ reading comprehension at the eleventh grade students of SMK ALTA in the academic year of 2019/2020. This study was also intended to know what extent is the improvement of students’ reading comprehension taught using One Stays Rest Stray technique. The data were analyzed by using mean formula. The improvement of students’ achievement was shown by the increasing mean of score from the first cycle and second cycle. The teaching learning process by using one stays rest stray technique was going on well. The result of this study also showed that one stays rest stray technique is effective to be used in improving students reading comprehension. It can be seen from the result of cycle I and cycle II, which showed the improvement of the mean of students’ score. In cycle I the mean of pre-test was 68.16 and the mean of post-test was 71.03. Whereas, in the second cycle, the researcher calculated the mean of pre-test was 75.86 and the mean of post-test was 79.54.
