Abstract

This study aims to: (1) do need to develop an educative game application SiMarbel as a thematic learning media in class 1. (2) develop and to test theapplicability of Si Marbel's educational application as a thematic learning media ingrade 1. (3) know the effectiveness of the educational game application Si Marbelas a thematic learning media in grade 1.This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The research usedADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) instructional designmodel.The results of this study are: (1) The development of educational gameapplications as a thematic learning media is needed in MI Negeri Salatiga, grade 1students especially the theme 5 "My Experience" which includes IndonesianLanguage subjects, SBdP, Civics, and mathematics. (2) Si Marbel's educationalgame application was developed using Adobe Animate CC. After the developmentprocess, Si Marbel was tested for its eligibility by application experts and materialexperts. The results of the media expert assessment are 90 and 93 respectively. Theaverage mean is 91.5 indicating that the development of the educational applicationSi Marbel is valid and can be implemented for learning in class 1 MI NegeriSalatiga. (3) The effectivity test shows significance (2-tailed) is 0,000 (p <0.05).The pre-test and post-test results shows experienced significant changes. Thedescriptive statistics of the pre-test and post-test values shows that post-test scoresis hogher, it can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes beforeand after learning using the educational game application Si Marbel.
