Abstract

ABSTRACT Rahmawati, Aida Dwi. 2020. The Use of Brainstorming Method in Learning PAI and Relevance Character Education (Case Study of PAI Teacher in Sumowono District, Semarang Regency). Thesis. Salatiga: Studies Islamic, Postgraduate Program of IAIN Salatiga. The Supervisor is Prof. Dr. Phil. Widiyanto, M.A. Key words: Brainstorming Method, Learning PAI, Relevance The purpose of the study was to: (1) describe the learning plan with brainstorming method in learning PAI. (2) describe implementation procedur in brainstorming method in learning PAI for student. (3) describe the relevance of the use method brainstorming in PAI learning to character education. This type of research is qualitative research, data collection by observation method, interview, and document review. Meanwhiles, data analysis techniques by performing data reduction stage, display data, and conclusion data. The result of the analysis describe through of descriptive data. Based on the result of research can be summarized as follows (1) the learning plan before implementation the brainstorming method in learning PAI is preparing lesson plans, preparing of quiz, and conditioning of class. (2) implementation procedur in brainstorming in learning PAI includes five stages is giving problems, responding to the problem (expressing opinions), grouping opinions, testing the relevance of opinions, and concluding opinions. (3) the relevance can be seen when applied in class. There are three characters in the spotlight is curiosty, creativity, and communicative.
