The Role of Parents in Dealing with Gadgets and Their Implications for the Deviation of Child Sexual Behavior in Semagu Hamlet, Koripan Village, Susukan District, Semarang Regency. Thesis. Salatiga: Salatiga IAIN Postgraduate Program. Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Phil Widiyanto, M.A. Keywords: Role of Parents, Sexual Behaviour, Gadgets, Implications This thesis explains the role of parents in supervising the use of gadgets in children and their effects on child sexual behavior with the aim of knowing the implications of using gadgets in children involving 5 key informants as parents with various types of education, social, economic and occupation. This type of research is qualitative, with participatory observation. Sources of data obtained are primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. Descriptive analysis methods to reduce data, display data, and draw conclusions. Issues discussed include the frequency of using gadgets, the role of parents in addressing the use of gadgets and the implications of gadgets. The results showed that the frequency and role of parents in controlling children when using gadgets has a great influence on the deviation of sexual behavior of children. Implications that occur if the child is not limited to the frequency of using gadgets and is not supervised by parents, the child will deviate from sexual behavior. The best step to prevent children from negative effects of gadgets is to limit and supervise their use, and to prioritize the provision of faith and piety early on.
